Seoul, Sagan-dong, just east of Gyeongbokgung. One of Korea’s oldest commercial galleries (founded 1970), long the house for the Korean modern masters and for experimental figures like Lee Seung-taek. Part of the Samcheong/Bukchon gallery cluster, a few minutes’ walk from Kukje Gallery.

Grows from

My own growth, not where Namjoon pointed, though it is a place he keeps pointing at. One stop on a day of galleries in the Samcheong cluster.

Why it matters

(fill in: the old gallery, the rooms, walking into the Lee Seung-taek show.)
