One day at Dia Beacon, the first visit to the place Namjoon pointed: Kishio Suga’s balanced stones in the morning light, Heizer’s holes in the floor, Serra’s spiral, and twenty-one years of Tehching Hsieh.
Grows from
Grows from Dia Beacon, a seed. The visit the seed was waiting for.
Why it matters
Dia Beacon is probably my favorite art site visited; Naoshima second (walking and staying at the museum at night). The vastness of space adds to the visit; all the art required that amount of space to properly showcase.
