A second-floor SoHo loft filled with 250 cubic yards of earth, twenty-two inches deep across 3,600 square feet. Walter De Maria’s third Earth Room, commissioned by Dia in 1977 at 141 Wooster Street and kept open to the public since 1980.
A room filled with earth on the second floor and the weight is being handled properly!
